I have watched every Dr. Phil since he came on the air, but it looks like that is going to change. I used to watch KRON-TV Channel 4 in the bay area, which carried the current Dr. Phil at 8 PM daily and a week delayed episode at 3 PM. Now they only carry the current episode at 5 PM. Although I am retired, I'm not always able to sit and watch Dr. Phil live, so I have two Media Center Computers that are Digital Video Recorders (DVR) and operate like a TIVO box. The problem is now, either Dr. Phil or KRON-TV are transmitting a 'Do Not Copy' security code that my MCE's honor and only record the 1st minute of the show, then stop, posting a note that the originator of this show has denied permission for it to be recorded. There are some good Tech shows on that have also set this code and I can't watch them either. It will be a shame if Dr. Phil ends up alienating a lot of his audience by refusing to let them time shif. I have been a fan of Dr. Phil's since he came on line and have even been down to LA and watched two shows live in the studio audience. I will keep trying to capture a Dr. Phil show, just in case you change your minds and allow my system to record it. I would have liked to have seen today's show, but it was blocked on both my machines.

Please select on 'Contact Dr. Phil' at the bottom of the page and select 'Technical Help' and report the issues you are having with recording the show.

Thank you,

For your personal safety

Please do not put your telephone number or your full name with your city and state in your posts.  The moderator will edit this information out of posts.  Again, this is for your personal safety.

To get to the old boards

Quote From: getrealtime

read message below if you still can't log in here or I started a new board on current events it called * Freedom to Speak*
Please try this:  do not to click the bottom link.  Click under "Speak Your Mind" to get to the old boards and see if that works.

Does this mean these old boards are being put to rest and that we will not be able to post on them soon?

Please say it ain't so!

Yes, at some point the old boards will eventually be retired.  We are not exactly sure when this will happen.

Excuse me again please?

I just logged off, like I usually do before leaving the sight. When I came back, I was already logged in. The site used to log you off automatically when you left, even if you forgot to log off manually. What gives?

I am not sure why that is happening and it has been reported it to tech support.
