I used to work at Walmart when I was looking for extra cash at Christmas.... I would never work thier again!  LOL  I had an iccident where they forgot to put a pair of jeans I bought, I phoned them and talked to the manager, and they said bring in your reciept and we'll see what we can do.  I said see what you can do?  No you will give me another pair of jeans.  And they did.  Talk to the big guy, go over the managers head. Yell and make a big stink.  Don't let them push you!  You go girl!  LOL

 

When this board disappeared.  I occassionally thought of trying to quit again, but now that it is back up I think of it way more often .... so if you guys don't mind I am going to keep posting, (so I keep thinking about it!) I do feel as though I shouldn't be posting until I quit, but like I said if I don't I won't quit. 

 

Did Ann ever come back???  Did she suceed?  I sure hope so, I would be so proud of you if you quit with out the support of the board!!  And your hubby???

 

I have totally gone of the Welbutrin, for the time being, I thought I needed to give my body the break from it.  I will go on it again in a week or two to get my self ready.  As I mentioned before once the kids are in school, I am going to the gym and turning over my new leaf! 

 

Yes Shelly, I agree we should give this board a good try.  It is just something new and we need to get used to it.  I must admit it is a lot of change and after awhile it will be ok.  I have a question....when I am writing my message, and when I am in message title, I can't use my backspace buttom???? Does any one esle have that problem?  WHen I am in the message part (as I am now) my back space button works fine......WEIRD!

Once we found out it was going on the school was watching the kid druing school hours, (recess).  But the mom was asked to walk to her son to and from school so that it wouldn't happen before or after school.  I started driving my son to school, the last week of school.

We live in Canada, (Aberta) and the part of town I live in has had a lot of shootings.  Not that it is a bad area, our whole city seems to have crap going on.  But since spring, their has been a few shootings, for example a boy was riding his bike down the street and someone shot him.  I said to the school and police, if someone doesn't do something about this kid now, he is going to be the next person to shot someone.  I said take this seriously.  We have just passed laws about bullying recently.  We have speakers come in and talk to the kids in the schools and bullying.  Society is making a big deal of bullying saying thier is a NO TOLOERANCE to bullying   but then the school doesn't take it seriously.  I don't understand. 

 

If it continues once school is back  I will press charges, and I will go to the school board. 

 

My son is a big boy, he is not overwieght, but he is about 2 yrs older "looking" the all of his class mates.  I am not sure why he was choosen.  Not saying that it is the little children that get bullied but when you look at my son, it doesn't look like the type of kid to take a beaten.  Please dont' take that the wrong way, I am just saying that usually kids that are bullied are bullied by someone 3 times as small as them.  And that is not the case here.  I guess I never thought it would happen to my son.

Yes I was freaking out, even my neigbor was (it was her son who told his mom and then she told me) My son wouldn't even tell me this was happening. 

 

I did tell my son not to take it when he was being pushed around.  I know some people wouldn't agree with that either, but if you have to defend yourself I say go for it!

That is good to know......however.....I got to them and I am looking for your post.  Do you have the same name?  They don't Number them??  What you can do is copy and paste it in to this message?  I counted 18 down, and it was about being bullied when they were in school?  Was that you?

You know what makes me mad?  We live in a cudesac.  (like a crescent but not really) Anyhow, theire is just enough room for me to park my van in front of MY house.  And just enough room for my neighbor to park in front of thier house.  Our bumbers are lined right up if we both park properly.  Ok, so the neighbor also has a car on the one side of thier driveway that they DO NOT drive.  So parking on the street and overlapping with the car in thier driveway wouldn't matter becasue they don't drive the one in the driveway.  My problem is they park in both spots on the road and then I can't park in front of my own house because they are taking up both spaces with one car.  I have said before that "you know if you pull up two feet, I we could fit two cars their"  But yet it is like they don't have any respect to do so.  I don't park in front of thier house, I park in front of my own house.  I park thier EVERY singel day, but if I am gone, and they come home they park in the middle.  It really makes me mad!

 

Thanks.....it probably won't help to vent, but don't you think they could be more respectful and pull up a bit!

I am glad your daughter is doing better with everything.  I can't believe the crap these kids make others go through, if they (the bullies) would just take a minute to understand how it hurts others.  My kids just got up and they are hungry so I will post later......
