Thank you

thank you to everyone for your comments.

I am just checking in here and then heading to the track. Troy was really sick with a cold and passed it on to us, lol, so I missed 3 days at the track, so have to get bcak at it today. I have missed it so much, but I knew my body needed rest. My diet did not change at all though since I was sick. Stuck to the plan 100% and will continue to because I just love how I feel and am never hungry anymore and I get full so fast.

Take care,

Sherri

Hi everyone!!!

Hi, just popping in to say that I hope you are all doing VERY well.

Not sure who is still here from the days I was around. Hope you will all tell me how you are doing.

I'm still doing great with my weightloss. I am currently at 135 and I am working out about 3 days a week.

I am still working part time at the drugstore, although my hours are inceasing and I have 36 this week. It varies from week to week.

I'll be back on tomorrow to read how you all are doing!

SHERRI - What a lovely surprise.   So happy to see you here.    Karen and Dolores are still here.  Char had joined us for a while and we hope she has just been busy and will be back soon.

You certainly are doing well with your weight loss........135 is a good weight.........I weighed between 135-138 before my accident and I was 5 ft. 8 in. tall.     Have seen other pictures of you on Facebook and you look gorgeous.

Am doing great, still struggling and think part of my problem is that I can't really go out and take a brisk walk or exercise strenuously......but I am not giving up.

Hope those sweet girls of yours are doing well.

Hugs,

Shirley

So glad you are well Shirley. Yes, it would be so nice for you to get out for a brisk walk. It must be very discouraging at times.

The girls are good. Dana will be 14 this weekend and Mikayla is 7 now. Time sure flies!!!

you look GREAT! Glad to see that you are doing so well. Working and working out too. So you must be a busy bee like me. I still go in races etc, and just gave up the second job at the Nursing Home. We will be moving soon, if we can sell this house that is. Anyways there is a showing here shortly so I must go for a walk. Keep in touch. You look like you are at a perfect weight for you. You look so different, but pretty as ever!

Missed you!

So great to hear from you! I think I look sooooooo different to. I think it's so strange when I look through old pics.....even from just a year ago. I don't recognize myself sometimes.

YES, I am busy, but it feels good to be busy to.

Missed you as well!

WOW!!  What a nice surprise.  Girl you look fantastic.  I got to 135 and that was a good weight for me, but gained some of it back as you already know.  I just can't seem to loose it any more.  I am busy getting ready for company from the "lower 48".  They are arriving next Wednesday night.  Don't think I will be thinking to much about what I am eating until they leave.  Then the first of July my daughter is coming home for a couple of months.  It is going to be a busy summer.  (which is good for me)

It is wonderful you got to your goal and are able to keep it off.  I think continuing to work out is the key to keeping it off.

It sounds like you are a busy little bee.  LOL  I bet Troy is very proud of you.  ; )

It is great hearing from you.  Hope to hear again soon.

Hugs,

Dolores

So nice to hear from you.

Troy is very proud of me, but it's also been an adjustment for him. Since I lost the weight and found my confidence and started working.....I have been getting alot of attention and compliments and he is adjusting to the new me, lol.

I'm so happy for you that your daughter is coming for a couple of months.

Just had to pop in here to say girl you did it and you look happy and fantastic!!! It's hard work like you have done that inspires myself and others , thanks for the update. BTW are you still vegetarian? Just curious...You take care girl....

HI to the rest of you too.....have a great Sunday....Hugs Karen

So nice to hear from you Karen.  Yes, I am still a vegetarian. Sept. will be 2 years since I had any meat and for ME it cured my I.B.S and did me a world of good.

Right now, it's 8:30am and I am off to the track with my 7 year old who loves to walk with me now and she can keep up with me to, lol. She is quite proud of that. THe sun is shining and I work from 4-8 today, so I will enjoy the day before heading off to work.

I applied for a new job and I am going for my second interview in July. It's a new retirement home that is opening up in Aug. I REALLY want the job and I feel very confident that I am getting it, especially when they called for the 2nd interview.

I hope you are doing well Karen. Take care and have a wonderful summer!

Sherri, Karen, Dolores, Shirley, and Char. It is great to hear from any or all of you.

So Sherri, are you running? You are definitely small enough to be a runner now. I'm at 122 and have been at 118 last summer with my running. I haven't been practicing quite as much as last year.

Karen, you are right that that pic of Sherri is very motivating, as she looks just perfect.

Dolores, we will miss you but have a blast with your sister. Get in some IE walking, shopping, etc when you are together.

Shirley, you have been doing good, and will move towards your goal with your healthy eating. Even though my weight is down, I still have bad days with my eating. It is the IE that keeps my weight down more. I do feel much better though when I eat right, and I want to make that a permanent habit, eating for health.

Ok, this has been one crazy, busy weekend. I had a race on Saturday afternoon and I came 5th again.  I felt good after the race. I got home and showered and then we sat on the deck and ate supper. OK, here comes the drum roll........................................................TA DA!!  The real estate agent called while we were eating and wanted to come out and show us an offer.  So after supper she came. We turned it down though, but came down with our asking price.

So then I had another race this morning, and had to call her right after my race. Good news, he upped his offer and she would come out at 1 pm, so I had time to get in a swim and look at my results. I came in 5th again in this race. That's 3 times I'm 5th now. I have to break that streak. Actually my chain fell off in the bike portion and I had a hard time getting it back on. Also, my legs were very tired from yesterdays race and I had to walk about 4 times after 7km, with only 3 km left in the race. Then I walked up the big hill at 9.5km and 2 ladies passed me. I passed one back and came in abit behind the other one. She ended up being 4th in our age category, so I could have been there, but I wasn't .

So getting back to the offer, it was higher and we accepted it. He has till Friday to do a home inspection and line up his mortgage, then it will be a firm offer. So it looks like we finally SOLD our house.

WEll hubby has left and our son is here for a couple of days holidays. Must go make our dinner.

Yes, I have been running, walking, biking and lifting weights. I do this at least 4 times a week to maintain what I worked hard to get to.

I had joined the gym for the winter and was going about 5 days a week, but it was always so busy and that was frustrating, so I quit in april and at first I was so worried that I wouldn't keep it up, but I have and I have really enjoyed the change of getting back outside. I do the weights and abs in the basement and everything else outdoors.

So happy you sold your house!

Can't wait to hear about the race.

Sunday (if hot out) we are going to the beach. I haven't been to the beach in a swim suit in YEARS, lol, so I will be quite proud to be there sporting my new swim suit, which is a lovely size 8, lol.
