I filled bankruptcy about  5 years ago. It was the most embarrassing thing I felt worthless. Because we made these debts and we were making the payments just fine until my husband was fired from his job.  Here's the really kicker he didn't  tell me for a few days.  I barely  supported our family for almost 3 years on my pay.  When my daughter started working full time she would help out by  buying things we needed and clothes for her brother.  This all while my husband, their father sat on his a**.  He always had some excuse his back was out, but yet he could go clean out the garage.  He was finally forced to get a job when we had to move because the owners of the home we were renting sold the house from under us and rent went up.  

It nice to here that most of us ended up the way we did because of mis-fortune. NOT BECAUSE OF POOR JUDGMENT. 

On the topic of Chris and Deborah, why can't she get a green card and get a work permit? What about a visa be here?  Deborah sounds like she hasn't even looked into anything to start working.  

Message for rich parents who give there children everything they ask for, you are creating monsters. Kids need to learn money doesn't come easy. Just as fast as you make it, it can be gone in a instant.  Today you may be rich and enjoying the finer thing in life, but tomorrow it could be all gone.  

    

I thank god I, didn't put my parents thru what these to woman did. Nor did my sisters or brother. 

My oldest sister had a church wedding and a party at my parents home. 

I was married in Las Vegas and had a party at my parents home a few weeks later. 

When my brother was married my parents paid for the rehesal dinner, it was at a local restruant nothing fancy. 

My younger sister was also married in Las Vegas, with a party a few weeks later at my family home. 

I have one sister that is single. 

I must say my parents did something right, none of girls wanted a fancy expense wedding, If  we wanted one it would not have been a problem.  Instead of have to foot the bill for a big wedding they were able to give us each a cash as a gift.  

To many women these days think they have to out do there friends or family. I was so tired of  

hearing the birdes keep saying its all about me,me,me. LADIES GROW UP!!!!!!!! 

I would rather have the cash my parents would have spent on a wedding than a big wedding.   

The biggest day in my life, was the birth of my childern.  Not my wedding in vegas.  

 I would like to wish the Maron and Shamkia the best of luck in thier marriage. You can tell they still love each other very much. You can see it in thier eyes. 

To the mom you puts down her daughter.  I watched the 1st show with you and could not understand why you put her down for her weight,  when you were not in shape your self.  You were just a big as her. Maybe it was your critizim that caused her to gain weight. My mother god rest her soul would just tell me I'm getting fat. She never called me names.   

Last but not least. To the mom who only allowed her daughter to play with "good looking children". The good looking children  get into the same trouble and do the same things the "not so good looking children".  What would you do if that childs parents aren't up to your ratings as good looking?  I'm what you call the not so good looking, someone  by  our standards you would not give the time of day to.  But  your the one missing out, we are a great group of people.   REMEBER WE ARE ALL THE SAME IN GODS EYES!!!! 

I could not belive the show when I, wacthed it today.  I haven't read alot of the post yet.  I saw a few stating the children should have been removed from there parents care. I agree, only if the kids would be kept together. Give the dad a chance, If he leaves them alone with her just once pull the kids from the home.  Arrest her a!! and put her in jail, may thats what she needs to scare her stright.  

My one big question WHY HAVEN'T THIER NEIGHBORS EVERY CALLED THE POLICE?  The song Concrete Angel comes to mind when I think of this woman and how neighbors trun there back on this family.    

Have you ever thought Julie may have a low self esteem.  From what I, got from the show Kelly does not give Julie any support. He just belittles her.  My husband is an a?? just like Kelly. I would love to kick him out. I don't love him like a husband, but I have a problem with co-dependice, and low self esteem.   

Julie good luck with the last 25lbs, you made me start thinking about my own weight. 

I am 49 and weigh 212lbs and to top it off I'm short.  I just finished entering the contest. Besides having to shop in the large sizes I would love to be able to go out and buy cute underwear and bras. It is so hard finding underwear that isn't grandma panties that go up past your belly button and hang out over your pants.  

I wish everyone good luck who's post talk about losing weight. Lets keep in mind we are doing this for ourselves and no one else.  

I noticed a couple of post saying at this time the could not afford Dr Phils book. If you go to amzon. com you can buy it used.  I am leaning that way. 

I enjoyed this show it gave me more strengh to do something about my life.

I have been married about 30 years, I don't have the love a wife should  have for her husband. I care about him as a friend, we fight over stupid things. I had to seperate our checking accouts because he spends money like water. I supported our family for about 3years because he complained his back hurt . He final got a job an makes minium wage.  I have be trying to find a co-dependcy group but so far no luck. I have no back bone, and need to start thinking about me. One thing that scares me is having to pay he support payments.

If anyone knows of a support group please let me know. I wrote to DR. Phil but have never received a reply.

I have some comments to the people of the House of Hate:

Gary: You made the comment "if you ain't white your not right". You don't know who your ancestors were are were they came from.  As a white person,  can some tell me what  a pure white person is. I know I, don't qualify my dad is 100%  Italian and my mom was french and Irish. 

B: I sorry you were hurt by some whites, you have to had more  positive experiences then negative.  Can't you see your acting just like them. I was hurt and belittled by a supervisor/office manager who was African American.  But I call all blacks names because of her. She was one person.

John: GROW UP, from watching the show all you did was say poor me, you were lazy.  All you were asked to do was clean up after yourself and you had a fit. How hard can it be to wash a dish or rinse out a glass. I am over weight about 80lbs or more.

I think Staci needs to put on a fat suit to see how overweight people are treated.
