...to have each other. What a wonderful way to start a day, to read so many inspirational and loving words, first thing.

I am still tired from the shoot, but plan to finish painting the deck today. The weather is supposed to be very cool tomorrow and I should go scout around in last year's elk hunting area. I am planning on returning "home" Wednesday morning.

I will REST a lot today. Does painting count as IE? <G> I miss my run when I am in town. I will not run on asphalt. I don't even like to walk here because of barking dogs, car fumes etc. <whine whine whine> I will TRY to get a walk in today. No promises. I can make up for it tomorrow hiking.

I will eat healthy.

Guess that's all for now.

Wow!  Does painting EVER count as "IE"!  That's a lot of exercise!

Hi, Becky!

That's still quite a walk!

Families seem to go up and down in size.  Right now with four grandkids and another marriage about two years ago,  our extended family is getting bigger, but we have been a lot smaller in the past.

The flag beneath it is much too large
The homemade ribbon too bright
The neighbors wont like it
Oh, what a sight!!!

Folks may not want to see it
In their neighborhood
Because it is a symbol
Perhaps misunderstood

Tonight I have spent the evening reading the boards rather than writing rhymes for them. Thanks to those of you who have read about Mikes deployment and responded. A version of the message below was sent to Dr. Phil COMMENTS immediately after I posted it to the TRUE BLUE shared diary, Blue Notes, several of my favorite boards and the drphil.com three most popular boards.

I am asking the drphil.com community to SEE MIKES LIGHT and attach names to our sons and daughters collectively know as OUR TROOPS.

We can do more to support our loved-ones. Who do you know that is in-harms-way? What can you to support them? We can actually doing something to really support those who are sacrificing because of the war. Everyone can do SOMETHING.

We can make our voice heard here. We could help establish a forum for soldiers and their families for both support and to talk about real things folks can do to help. What do you think?

Thanks to each of you who are supporting Mike. Thank you for your kind words and wishes and the time it takes to reply. Thank you for lamps-lit, ribbons-tied and American Flags proudly flying for our son.

As you see
Blue is doing all three

I pray for our troups and their families.  I have friends who do, too.  Remember as I'm sure Becky would say that God is still in charge.

Today my form of exercise was riding a bicycle. Now will do some squats, situps and push ups and that's it for the day my friends.  Keep up the good work

Monday and Tuesday

Yesterday, two friends of mine from the church came by to see how I'm doing.  They were sure surprised to see me exercising when it's so hot here.  But you all wouldn't be surprised, would you.  It's easy to find reasons to NOT exercise, but there's better reasons TO exercise:  1) healthier me!  2) happier me!  3)  longer-lasting me!

Monday:  Jane Fonda video and Leslie Sansone 3 mile video=1 hour 23 minutes, 12 OMC minutes--following Palkit's example to do the for absent friends, too--16 squats for MM

Tuesday:  Lori Dean video, Leslie Sansone 3 mile, and travel gym exercises=1 hour 22 minutes--12 OMC minutes--16 squats for MM, where she is.

Checking in on Wednesday

Hi!

Finally figured out where Dr. Phil's show was going to be when the September tv season starts.  Here in So. Cal. he'll be on CBS, channel 2.  I think I'm going to be watching a lot more CBS starting in September!

I'e been at 127.5 for the last two weeks, but that's a plateau I'm happy to be at for a little while.

Andie pie so you got your 1 hr 23 min in that's terrific. Keep up the good work.

My form of IE yesterday was mowing the back and front lawn. No I don't have a self-propelled lawnmower!  That was quite a work out.  Have to do something else today though ? We'll think about it :-)

Okay, I'll start off with knee bends

becky.........I like your new icon. Nice and colorful.  Good job on exercising too :-)
