Please do not get personal.. It is not very becoming. What happened to that wit, that clever tongue that never took things too seriously. Please come back?
I think that reepslady is defending the concept of Marriage. People take it too lightly knowadays. I think if you feel she is refering to herself perhaps it is maybe because she is a married woman who takes the convenant of marriage seriously and would do what it takes to save it. It is a quality to be admired nowadays - don't you think?

My post is in response to your first comment Lyndish. About the fakes and the need to show off and also the finance thing. Thought I better clarify. :)

Im not sure if youre saying hello to me as in "Hi!" or hello to me as in "Wake up!" HAHA :)
What can I say? Im a true sap and sucker for romance. Im just an easy mark. I swear that never even entered my mind till you brought it up. Im pleading being mesmerized by the sweets. tehe I read the whole convo and I feel like Tevia in Fiddler on the Roof. Did you see that one? You know the part where they are discussing politics and he tells the one man, "Thats right" then the other, "Thats right too" and the other, "Hes right too" When someone says they cant all be right Tevia responds," You know something? Youre right too." HAHA
Anyways, it was a good point that I hadnt thought of and im glad you mentioned. I am keeping my mind open until I see some more from Marty. Who has alway been my biggest problem in this family. I want to see what he will do about Kat. Dont think some chocolates are gonna fix that mess.
BTW... I posted a Q to you on the WLC board in response to your Easier? post. Am curious if you can help with my confusion over the whole thing.

NOT the #1 for marriage problems. It is the arguing about financial difficulties that is the #1. There is a difference.

On this website, click on Advice; then Money/Career; then Money and Marriage/A Good Balance ... for the proper info.

and perhaps that is why I read all the advice carefully so I could completely understand it instead of just reading the first line and quoting it.

Holy Crap! Right at the beginning the doc says it's the #1 problem in marriage, and the #1 cause of divorce. He doesn't say it's #1 IF you argue about finances. It's #1 period. Got glasses? :)

So according to you, poor people are more likely to divorce than middle class or upper middle class because if you are poor you definitely have financial difficulties.
Because according to you it is financial diffulties that cause divorce and not the fighting about money.
I think you interpreted "financial difficulties" wrong.
Recognise this(The reason we fight most about money is because it's the most measurable.)- it's from the rest of the article.
You posted:-"I'll bet you a bakery that Marty and Erin had it out about the unnecessary cost incurred from this "romantic" evening."(even you say it, they're going to argue about the unnecessary cost - not about thier finacial diffulties that they have)
You know what...whatever....I don't care anymore. We're saying practically the same thing anyway.
Besides that you know better than I do because you have holy crap.
