27-Year-Old Says Mom Calls Her ‘Junkie,’ ‘Whore,’ Has ‘Ruined’ Her Life

          September 9, 2016

Sara says she hates her mother and she can’t ever imagine having a healthy relationship with a woman who she claims once said she wished her dead.

“My mom has ruined my life,” claims Sara. “I’m not the unfit mother; my mother is the unfit mother. My mother has never showed me love and affection.”

Sara says she and her mother, Lisa, have always had a strained relationship.

“She’s wickedly mean to me. She calls me a junkie, a thief, an embarrassment, a loser and a whore. Once, she even called me a gutter slut,” Sara claims. “Two weeks ago, she told that me she hoped that I died. I will never forget the things that she has said to me.”

Sara admits to using drugs in the past but says she went to detox when she got pregnant with her son four years ago and doesn’t take any drugs now except Suboxone.

“I would get high to fill the void of having a mother that didn’t love me,” Sara says.

The 27-year-old also tells Dr. Phil that her mother has called Child Protective Services on her five times in an effort to have her kids taken away from her.

“She claims I abuse my kids. There has never been proof of me abusing my kids,” Sara says. “I hate my mom. I want my mom to know that she has messed up my life. I want my mom to apologize to me.”

When Sara sees her mom for the first time in a year-and-a-half on Dr. Phil’s stage, will she get the apology she says she longs for? This episode airs Friday. Check here to see where you can watch.
