Jim, a newlywed of a-year-and-a-half, admits he has a problem with gambling and has lost roughly $300,000 since he’s been married, and over $800,000 in the course of his lifetime. He has also lost cars and his business and is now unemployed and practically homeless.
“I’m like a zombie. I can’t get away from it,” Jim admits of his gambling.
He also confesses that he has lied to his wife about his whereabouts to hide his gambling – and that he told her that he had cancer and had to go in for treatment so he could spend a few weeks at the casino undisturbed.
In the video above, Jim tells Dr. Phil how he can visit eight casinos in three states in one day.
