In the video above, Tammy says, “I didn’t realize the sexual abuse that happened to my daughter, Alisa.”
Amy asserts her mother did know what was happening to Alisa but neglected to do anything about it. She says Tammy made excuses for everything. “She was ‘depressed,’ ‘tired,’ ‘alone’ – I wasn’t buying any of it.” Amy says, “My mother acted like everything was going right – even if everything was going wrong.”
Tammy admits she did know about some of the abuse, but didn’t take it to the police. She also says her daughters have let their imaginations run wild regarding the past. “It seems like my daughters are prosecuting me as being a bad mom. I don’t know why they would do that. I feel like I did the best that I could do.”

“There’s no way Wendell did anything inappropriate to my grandson,” says Tammy. An investigation by Child Protective Services determined the allegations against Wendell were unfounded.
