“My entire life I’ve seen shadow people, but lately, it’s gotten worse,” says Haley who says she has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. “They have a head, and they have hands. They would tell me things like, ‘Don’t go into that room. There’s a bad person in there.’ And it said my name, ‘Haley, come here.’”

Haley says that she has seen these figures since she was a small child.
“When I start to see the black shadow people, I usually hide under my blanket for comfort. It’s overwhelming,” she shares.

Haley recently completed two months of inpatient treatment after appearing on Dr. Phil with her family, who claimed that Haley is a compulsive liar. After treatment, Haley said she believed it was helpful to her, but now she says “it was a waste of time.”
In the video above, Haley tells Dr. Phil how these ‘shadow people’ and voices affect her on a daily basis.
