Dr. John Chirban, Ph.D., Th.D., is a Clinical Instructor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School and a member of the Dr. Phil Advisory Board. He is currently conducting a study of how people learned about sex growing up. The results of this study may be used in upcoming episodes of the Dr. Phil show, and may even appear in Dr. Chirban’s next book (which is not related in any way to the Dr. Phil show.)
Your participation in this survey is voluntary and all answers will be kept confidential.
The questions are about parents’ and teenagers’ attitudes toward sex and sex education. The hope is that the information obtained from this survey will help Dr. Chirban understand experiences concerning sex education of teens and parents in America today and will assist in developing more effective sex education in the home. If there is a question that you do not wish to answer, you can skip it and move on to the next question.
Thank you for your honesty and participation.
