          The Rapid Start Plan

          The Rapid Start Plan is a 14-day, calorie-controlled, carbohydrate-modified plan that helps gear your body for accelerated weight loss. It also initiates the process of choice shift, in which your taste preferences for high-sugar, high-fat foods begin to change to a preference for healthier foods. For example, replacing cookies with apples, oranges or another healthy food, makes you prefer the healthier food and have a stronger desire for it. Along with choice shift, your cravings for sugar and refined carbohydrates will diminish.
          “You’re going to start this 14-day Rapid Start program and you’re going to say, ‘I can’t eat all this food.’ Well maybe you can and maybe you can’t but the idea is you’re not going to be hungry. You’re going to have plenty to eat, you’re just going to have to eat the right thing,” Dr. Phil explains.
