Gary is struggling to accept his son, who recently came out as transgender, as a woman. In the video above, Dr. Phil tries to frame the conversation in a way that just might help Gary keep an open mind.
"If you knew that every brain begins feminine," Dr. Phil asks Gary, "and [it is] how much testosterone bombards and is absorbed by that brain in early developmental states that differentiates male from female, would that be of any interest to you?"
