Valentine's Day Contest





The contest is sponsored by the "Dr. Phil" show.


This contest is open to legal residents of the U.S. or Canada 18 years of age or older.
To enter, please submit before February 3, 2009. Only one entry per contestant. In 100 words or less, please let us know how it felt to receive the worst Valentine's Day gift ever from a loved one and what you would've preferred instead. If you are still dating or are still married to the person who gave you the worst Valentine's Day gift ever, and would like them to get a gift-buying wake-up call from Dr. Phil, please submit your story. 

Contest Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries or e-mail malfunctions.
Submissions will not be returned and, upon submission, will become the property of Peteski Productions, Inc. and may be used on "Dr. Phil."
"Dr. Phil" producers will judge the entries in their sole discretion and will select one (1) prize winner from all eligible entries received based on the persuasiveness of the submission and its suitability for broadcast on "Dr. Phil."
Winner will be contacted by phone, e-mail and/or regular mail on or about February 4, 2009.
PRIZE (1 available)
FTD flower bouquet gift certificate. Estimated retail value: $100. 
Prize includes delivery of goods. Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state or local taxes on prize. Prize may not be transferred or substituted.


Employees and their immediate family of Contest Sponsor, CBS Television Distribution and Peteski Productions, Inc are not eligible to enter.
By entering contest and accepting prize, winner agrees to appear, and/or have his/her story featured on "Dr. Phil" and/or the use of his/her name, image and likeness in advertising and promotion for Contest Sponsor without consent or compensation.
If the prize is not claimed, or a winner is disqualified, an alternate winner will be selected using the judging criteria set forth above.
Contest Sponsor, Dr. Philip C. McGraw, CBS Television Distribution and Peteski Productions, Inc. and their respective employees, agents, parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies are not liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance and/or use of prize. Winner will be required to execute forms releasing these parties from any and all liability prior to receiving the prize.
This contest is void where prohibited by law.
