Guest Follow-Ups

Dr. Phil often says that when guests come on the show, they are just beginning their journey toward change. Previous guests sent in videos explaining how their lives have improved since their appearance.

"I used to weigh an astonishing 356 pounds," Charles shares. "I've lost 151 pounds. Not only have I lost it, I've been able to maintain it."

"We were on your Valentine's Day show. You have helped this working mom learn how to be comfortable and sexy at the same time," says Stella.

"As you can see, it worked. This is our new son, Tyler," Brad, Stella's husband, adds.

"You gave me the guitar, and it has opened a world of creativity and confidence for me," says Kiki, who appeared on the show Holidays from Hell. "Thanks so much."

"Four years ago, we were on your show seeking help with our infertility problems," says Jeff, who is married to Lesley. "As a result of that show, we would like to introduce our daughter, Neveah, who is now 2½ years old. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart."

Rachel appeared on the show, Bad Brides, and was in a battle with her mother over the budget for her wedding. "Since the show, my relationship with my mom has totally changed," she shares.

Holly was an alcoholic mother who appeared in the series, The Real Lives of Desperate Housewives. "I've been sober almost four years now, thanks to your advice," she tells Dr. Phil.

"I'm so proud of all of y'all. You've made tough changes," Dr. Phil says to his former guests.

Holly recalls that Dr. Phil told her, "To whom much is given, much is expected."

"I hope my life reflects that today," she says.
