Former FBI agent and polygraph examiner Jack Trimarco returns to the studio the next day to attempt to give Tony a polygraph test for the fourth time. Before the test, Alex and Tony get into a heated argument.
Maggie, a Dr. Phil production assistant, asks Tony, "Do you want to try one more time, just so we can get it all behind us?"
"I want to go," he says.
Maggie reports to show producer, Beth, "Tony hasn't put his shirt on. He's not dressed, and he said he's angry and that he wants to go home. He said, ‘I'm so tired of her,' so I think he and Alex are fighting. She's probably pushing him to do the lie detector, and he's not wanting to do it, or, I don't know what's going on."
Show producer, Ed, talks with Tony, and the young man tells him, "I don't want to do anything for anybody. I want to go home."
"Can I ask what happened since yesterday?" Ed asks.
"She said something to me that she can't take back," Tony says and walks outside and leaves the studio.
Beth tells Alex that Tony has left the building, and she asks her about the comment she made to Tony.
[AD]"I guess he feels like I don't believe him," Alex says.
"Did you say that this morning?" Beth asks.
"I guess I might have, in a way, if that's the way he took it," Alex replies. "I can't make somebody do something they don't want to do." She adds that she made numerous comments to Tony. "I just said that I was frustrated because I take up for him all the time." She agrees to talk with Tony, but he doesn't want to speak with her.
Tony refuses to appear in the show, then changes his mind and agrees to participate.
Dr. Phil speaks to Alexandra privately backstage. After their conversation, where she fully understands Dr. Phil's concerns about the situation, she complains of Braxton Hicks contractions. Dr. Phil tells her she can return home or see a local OB/GYN in Los Angeles.
Erin goes backstage to check on Alex, and emotions run high.
"If you really are having contractions, then you see the OB out here," Erin says to her daughter.
Alex, who appears to be in pain, asks her mother to stop talking.
"I'm not going to stop. This is your third child. Stop screwing up," Erin says. "You don't fly home and take a 12-hour trip, unless it is that you want to miscarry. Is that what the goal is?"
"I just want to go home," Alex says, as she leaves the room. "I'm not walking away from Dr. Phil; I'm walking out of here because I don't want to deal with you."
[AD]Alex meets with Dr. Phil who tells her that she doesn't need to return to the stage. "I don't want you to be uncomfortable," he says.
"I can't walk away, because I need your help," Alex tells him.
"You're not storming off," Dr. Phil assures her. He agrees to speak with Alex onstage without Erin present.
In another area, Erin says, "Alexandra is acting like a spoiled little brat … Stop whining and deal with it."
