He continues. "I don't know whether you molested your little sister or not, but I do know you're lying to me when you're telling me that you didn't do any of the things that all of these independent people, that don't even know each other, are

"I don't know what to say," Mikai replies.
"They're just all wrong?" Dr. Phil questions.
"I don't remember all of them, but I'm sure what they said I did is true," Mikai says. "I'm pretty good at telling myself lies so I will forget things or try not to remember them. A lot of things I really don't remember happening. I'm sure I did them, but that's what I thought was the OK thing to do."

Dr. Phil continues: "Claim your right in the sun, and you can't do that if you're in denial about what's going on. You need to find out why your impulse control is so bad, why your judgment is so bad, why you're doing that kind of thing, why you feel so inadequate that you can only deal with young girls because you don't have the strength to deal with somebody on equal footing. Those are questions that you can never drill down on ... until you get honest. You can come in here and try to bulls**t me all day long or you can get honest and tell me the truth!"
"I did it," Mikai says.
"You said, 'I did it.' What did you do?"
"I reached my hand up her blouse and tried putting my hand down her pants," Mikai replies.
Dr. Phil asks Mikai why he lied about touching the girl.
"I guess I thought I was going to try to get past you," Mikai tells Dr. Phil. "I wasn't ready to admit it."

"Do you want to get past me?"
"No."
"Have you ever had anybody work as hard to give you a rope to grab onto before right now?" Dr. Phil asks. "I'm doing everything I can to try to get you to reclaim your life. I will offer you rehabilitative help here if you get honest, but I can't help you if you don't get honest ... You are at a crossroads. You can make the right choice here ... I want you to make a decision right now. Whatever I ask you coming up, I don't want you to worry about the consequences, I don't want you to worry about the effect, you tell me the truth."
"OK," Mikai says.
Asked once again about his past, Mikai stands by his previous answers that 27 people have molested him since he was 9 years old. "I want you to tell me the truth, because I want to help you with everything. I want to help you with what you're doing that you shouldn't be doing. I want to help you with what's being done to you that shouldn't have been done to you," Dr. Phil tells him. "But what has been done to you does not justify what you are doing. But that doesn't mean that you don't need, deserve and have to get help to help you get beyond that."
Dr. Phil asks Mikai if he has inappropriately touched his little sister and he says no. "Have you wrestled with the impulse to do so?"

"Yes," Mikai admits.
"So this has been in your mind, this has been in your heart, you have struggled with this?"
"Yes," Mikai replies.
"Do you need help controlling that impulse?"
"Yes, I think I will before too long," Mikai says. "I don't get aroused. I think, 'What if I did this?'"
"You don't want to hurt your little sister, do you?" Dr. Phil continues.
"No," Mikai says, noting that he loves his little sister. "It kills me. She's one of the only few people I've ever actually loved more than myself and I couldn't."
"Do you want help, Mikai?" Dr. Phil asks.
"Yes."
Dr. Phil asks Mikai to look at his parents and truthfully admit what he has done to his family.
"I know I've caused a lot of chaos in our family and I know that I've hurt all you guys a lot, but I know and I need and I want help," he admits.
