Tuesdays with Morrie: Letters

Tuesdays with Morrie: Letters

Dear Mr. Albom,

My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for years. I read
Tuesdays with Morrie several times, and the lesson on family and there being no substitute to having children had a huge effect on me. We traveled to China and adopted two beautiful girls. Tuesdays with Morrie changed my life by making me realize I needed to live my life and follow my dreams.

Yours truly,

Sonya

Dear Mr. Albom,

The moment I finished
Tuesdays with Morrie, I knew I must go visit the man I had admired so much as a little girl: my grandfather. I flew to see him and we shared four precious days of memories about life on his farm and laughed at his many one-liners. He talked about becoming the oldest tandem skydiver in the United States at 92. He was even still competing in the senior Olympics at 95. He passed away two-and-a-half years ago, but if it weren't for reading Tuesdays with Morrie, I would never have reconnected with such a special man.

Sincerely,

Joanna

Dear Mr. Albom,

Ten years ago, I was introduced to
Tuesdays with Morrie. This book has helped me get through one of the most difficult times in my life. A year ago, my brother passed away at 53 years old. Morrie gave me peace in teaching that just because my brother wasn't physically with me anymore, his spirit would never die. I have read this book at least a dozen times, and I turn to it every time I'm confronted
with an obstacle.

Thank you,

Bonnie

Bonnie traveled all the way from Nova Scotia to be in the audience because Tuesdays with Morrie had such a big impact on her!
