Weight Loss Challenge Finale: The Brides

Weight Loss Challenge Finale: The Brides
Dr. Phil checks in with the two families competing in the Ultimate Family Weight Loss Challenge.
The other brides from the challenge join Dr. Phil onstage in their new wedding gowns. Stephanie (left), who wanted to lose 48 pounds by her wedding day, lost 57 pounds and dropped four dress sizes. When Jacquetta (center) first started the challenge she weighed 191 pounds. She lost 46 pounds and dropped three dress sizes. Rachel (right) has met her goal and lost 46 pounds.

The first incentive for the brides to reach their goal was an upgrade on their diamond engagement ring. They all accomplished the feat and their fiancés presented them with their new
rings. "When I look at the ring, it's beautiful. It's inspiring. It's a monument of sorts to my weight loss," Jacquetta reflects.

Stephanie shares her thoughts. "The ring that I got today it's a nice reward, and it's a nice reward that's not food."

"When I look at the ring, of course it's beautiful. But when I really looked at it, I was very proud of myself because it totally symbolized all the work that I had done," says Rachel through tears.
Because Jeremy didn't have the chance to present Kelly with her new ring, he gets down on one knee and proposes to Kelly again.

Dr. Phil tells Stephanie: "You are our big winner!" She and her fiancé, Paul, who has lost 80 pounds, win a romantic

honeymoon in Jamaica, something Stephanie has always dreamed about. It's a four-night, five-day all-inclusive trip to Couples Resort. Plus, they will get an all-new romantic bedroom from the Chris Madden
Collection at JC Penney. The other three brides will receive a $5,000 check from GetSmart Lending to kick off their marriage.

As one final surprise for the engaged couples, Edwin McCain serenades them with his hit song, "I'll Be."
