“If someone gave me a choice right now, you have to live the rest of your life as it is right now or die, I’d rather die,” Jerry Jr. tells Dr. Phil on Monday’s episode.
“I have a theory and that theory is that you never surrender to the disease,” Dr. Phil tells Jerry Jr. “And when I get involved, I’m not like your dad. I will haunt you until the end of the earth.”WATCH: What Admitted Addict Says He’s Most Ashamed Of
Dr. Phil also has a message for Jerry Sr., who admits to giving his son over $3 million dollars, he says, to save his son’s life from the extreme addiction. “If we take the steps to help this young man, to help the father of your grandson, and he hits a rough spot and you step in there and sabotage what I’m doing, I am your worst nightmare,” he says. “You need to be done enabling this young man right now, or I don’t even start.”
