Carla claims her 18-year-old daughter, Alyssa, is “poisoning” her relationship with her boyfriend, Ron. Alyssa says she’s shocked that her mother is dating Ron again because he injured her sister, Vittoria, when Vittoria was a baby.

Ron spent six years behind bars for assaulting Vittoria, who is his daughter with Carla. She suffered multiple fractures, bruises, lacerations, and a brain hemorrhage when she was just a couple of months old.
Carla says Vittoria was born premature and claims that if Ron did harm her - it was an accident. Ron denies harming Vittoria.

“Anything hard enough to break her bones is abuse,” insists Alyssa. She says she doesn’t understand why her mother would sacrifice her own children to be with Ron and has given Carla an ultimatum: Pick her – or pick Ron.
“It upsets me that she’s trying to control me when I’m her mother,” says Carla, adding that she wants Alyssa to “get past the past.”
