Five southeastern Michigan teenagers are accused of killing a father of four by dropping a six-pound rock from a highway overpass and hitting the car he was riding in. Thirty-two-year-old Kenneth White was fatally injured on October 18, 2017, on I-75, just north of Flint.

Kyle Anger, 17, Mikaydyn Payne, 16, Mark Sekelsky, 16, Alexander Miller, 15, and Trevor Gray, 15, have all been charged as adults. All five teenagers are facing multiple charges including second-degree murder. All five have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

Police allege the teens had a history of tossing items off the crossing.

“He would have never participated in anything that would have been a known fact of taking someone’s life,” says Michael Payne, father of 16-year-old Mikaydyn Payne, in a daytime exclusive interview with Dr. Phil airing Wednesday.
