“Deborah always spoke of her father like he was God,” says Ronald about his wife. “She used to say I’m such a sweet, loving person, just like her father was. I don’t want to be compared to someone like that, that can do such heinous crimes.”
 
Three years ago, Deborah says she learned that her father, Robert Brashers, lived a double life. She says while he was a doting husband and father to her and her half-sister, April, he was also killing and raping people.
 

“Deborah has not been the same since she found out,” Ronald says. “I honestly don’t know how to talk to her about the situation.”
