Michelle Wilkins was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first child in March 2015, when she responded to a Craigslist posting advertising free maternity clothes. But when the mom-to-be went to the Longmont, CO home of Dynel Lane to pick up the items, she was brutally attacked by Lane. Wilkins says Lane threw her on a bed, tried to suffocate her with a pillow and then hit her over the head with a lava lamp. And then Lane did the unthinkable: she cut Wilkins’ stomach open and took the baby from her womb.
