          Spoiled and Entitled

          June 22, 2011

Why do so many young people think they’re entitled to a lavish lifestyle without working hard for it? Dr. Phil sits down with two 20-somethings who say it’s their birthright to lead glamorous lives. And, PR maven Kelly Cutrone gives both women a reality check!

          Pampered Princess?

Erica, 27, says she doesn’t leave the house without her diamond tiara. She says her parents still give her an allowance, and she spends most of that money on Botox and maintaining her appearance. Her mom, Cindi, admits to paying Erica’s rent and other bills, but she says she wants her daughter to have a good life.

“I’m not really sure how much it would cost to be me.”

          Back to Reality

Erica reveals that she is pursuing a career as a reality TV star. Dr. Phil sends the young woman to New York to intern for Kelly Cutrone, PR powerhouse and author of If You Have to Cry Go Outside … And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You. Kelly has a message for Erica, and it’s not pretty!

“In Hollywood, you’re not a spring chicken, babe. You should get on with the party.”

          A-List Ambitions

Josie, 28, says she won’t settle for a man who isn’t wealthy and powerful. She says she’s looking for a wealthy director or producer who can help further her career. Her mother, Alla, says she’s financed Josie her entire life, and she’s ready to cut her off. See what happens when a guest walks onstage to confront Josie!

“She’s the typical Jewish-American princess, and she acts like one.”
