Weight Loss Challenge - Show 4
The 13 weight loss challenge finalists live in a camera-filled house for five days.
Dr. Phil: "Don't you go to bed at night and don't you wake up at 3:00 in the morning staring at the ceiling and absolutely hate who you have become?"
Sarah nods.
Dr. Phil: "Why? What are you so ashamed of?"
Sarah: "I'm ashamed that I haven't conquered my weight. I'm ashamed that I don't take school seriously, that I don't really have priorities in my life."
Dr. Phil: "Why are you so fat?"
Sarah: "I think I've lost accountability to myself. I don't hold myself accountable."
Dr. Phil: "At what point in your life, did you give yourself permission to blow off yourself, your life, your school?"
Sarah: "When I was allowed to."
Dr. Phil: "Do you get the fact that if you don't do what you need to do, that I will either personally or send somebody to drag your lazy ass out of bed and get you to school, get you to the track, to do whatever it is you've got to do to get in this game of life and start playing? And whoever has been letting you get by with this, I'm going to personally talk to them and tell them to pull their head out of their ass and get you back in the game...You know you can turn this around now."
Sarah: "Yeah I do."
Dr. Phil: You can be sitting there with a husband and kids and a great career 20 years from now, and say 'Y'all aren't going to believe this, but let me show you a picture when I was 22. And you know what they're going to say? 'Mom, no way! No way that's you!' Or you can sit there like Jabba the Hut and be ashamed of yourself the rest of your life. So what are you going to choose?
Sarah: "I choose you."
