Dr. Phil asks Gypsy how she feels about her father.
“I am very angry, and sometimes I do feel hate toward him,” she says. “And the reason why is, I know that hate is a strong word, but I feel that if anyone deserves to be hated, it would be him. And the reason why is because of what he did to [Kiani], and what he did to me, and my mom and everyone else. And, you know, her children. So, I do hate him, and I’m very angry.”
“Are you OK with the fact that she’s in a different place than you?” Dr. Phil asks Gypsy.
“I don’t want her to hate him. I wouldn’t wish someone to hate someone. But I know it’s going to take awhile for her to get where I am, because she’s been through way more than I have,” she says. Gypsy says she’s seen a lot of progress with Kiani in the past month.
“Are you glad she left?” Dr. Phil asks Elizabeth.
“Yeah. I was glad because she was able to do something that I wasn’t capable of doing,” she says.
