Why This Woman Says Her Son’s Girlfriend Should ‘Break Things Off’ And ‘Move On’ With Her Life

          VIDEO

          September 27, 2016

Wendy claims her youngest son Grant, is a “con artist” with a drinking problem and a history of abusing every woman he’s ever been with. Now, she’s advising his current girlfriend Korin, who is five months pregnant with the couple’s second child, to break things off and move on. “She’s called me because she’s scared out of her mind,” says Wendy. “He’s screaming at her – he would push her out onto the deck. Lock her outside on the deck in the winter…. He tells her to get out of the house.”

“When he’s drunk, he says things he doesn’t mean,” says Korin who blames Grant’s drinking for his behavior. “I walk on eggshells a lot because I don’t know what kind of mood he’s going to be in.”

Korin has moved out of the couple’s home four times but has always returned. She says she’s angry with Grant because she claims he keeps picking alcohol over his family. “Alcohol is Grant’s best friend,” says Korin.

Grant says he likes to drink, and agrees he’s an alcoholic, saying “I don’t have an off switch with alcohol.” He admits he lashes out at Korin but claims she is aggressive, and their life together is a non-stop battle. “Korin is overbearing, and constantly making my life harder.” Grant asserts no one has the right to tell him what to do, and he wishes his mom and girlfriend would just butt out of his life.

Wendy says she’s tired of the cycle of abuse, and what she calls Grant’s “toxic behavior.” Wendy says she loves Grant, but she’ll do whatever it takes to protect her grandchildren. She wants Korin to leave him, for her own safety. “It’s unhealthy for the children. It’s definitely unhealthy for a baby. It’s unsafe. I just think she needs to get away and be on her own.”

Korin says she is scared to stay but still considers Grant to be the love of her life. “I believe my children deserve a lot more – but I’m scared to leave Grant for good – I’m scared to be without him.”
