Woman Responds To Allegations She Digitally Stole Photos Of Couple’s Twins & Posted Them As If They Were Her Own Children

          May 11, 2016

Ashley is being accused of “digitally kidnapping” a couple’s 4-year-old twin daughters, by allegedly digitally stealing photos of the girls and posting them on her own social media pages, as if they were her own children.

But, Ashley says it’s completely untrue.

“April and Nathan are claiming that I took pictures off of their Facebook of their daughters and used them on my own on my Facebook, and I did not do that,” Ashley says. “I have never heard of April or Nathan. I’ve never even seen pictures of the children.”

April says after her twins’ birth, she joined a social media group for moms of multiples and uploaded photos of her daughters. Soon, she says, she received a private message from someone claiming that another woman had taken her photos and posted them on her own blog.

“When I went to this lady’s blog, it said that her name was Ashley. She basically took my photos offline and made up a complete life of her as their mom, and has a story to go along with every single picture with my girls,” April claims.

While she says she has twin daughters of her own, named Adaya and Kamberlin (who Ashley says were born in 2012, around the same time as April and Nathan’s twins), Ashley says lost contact with the girls when they were 7 months old.

“I had made some mistakes in my life and I was sent to prison and lost custody because of that,” she explains, adding she’s not sure who has custody of the children now because she says she signed away her parental rights.

As for April and Nathan’s claims that she’s stolen their photos, Ashley says it’s “bizarre.”

“I have no idea why they think that,” Ashley says of the claims against her. “Being accused of something I didn’t do has totally thrown me for a loop.”
