Encouraging Americans to Lead by Example

"I want you to march with your beliefs … don’t be intimidated … Let’s quit complaining about what is and start doing something about it. If your neighbor wants to vote the other way, say fine, go vote the other way, I'll love you anyway. Let's lead by example. If they want to do it, let them do it, love them anyway. But as for you, the collective You, I don't want you to just listen and say, nice talk, Dr. Phil. I want you to march in your life. I want you to march with your beliefs. I want you to not be intimidated. Don't be stopped, and don't just vote; take five people with you. Like I said, the difference between winners and losers is winners do things losers don't want to do. And what they do is they take actions toward known outcomes. They deal with the truth. They set goals and they go after them with passion."

Dr. Phil’s Commitment to Bipartisan Dialogue

"I did speak here [at Trump Rally] because my message is that we've got to stop being divided. We've got to stop being bullied and it's time for us to unify. And who wins this election is going to be my president. I spoke at this Donald Trump event, and I'll speak at a Kamala Harris event if they'll invite me. I've asked to speak to Kamala Harris over 25 times. And I haven't gotten any response back whatsoever. But I want to speak to her. I want to speak to Vice President [Candidate] Walz. I'll speak to anybody on any side of any issue in this country. That's what I want to do. I'll speak to who will speak to me, to get a message to the American people.

The message that I wanted to get across here is it's time to quit being so divided. It's time to quit bullying. It's time to start saying we've all got a right to do what we want to do and vote out being bullied, ostracized, criticized, marginalized, facing boycotts and everything. That sort of thing. It's just not who we are. That's not what the American people are about. And that's the message here. I didn't come here to endorse Donald Trump. I came here to deliver a message to this country about what we need to get back to."
