"I'm Divorcing a Real Life Mommy Dearest"

          December 18, 2014

Jamie says his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jennifer, is a real-life “Mommy Dearest” who verbally attacks their two children — yelling at them, calling them “stupid” and even waking them up at night to correct their chores. He says the drama has gotten so bad, he got a protection order against Jennifer — something she claims he did in order to force her out of their lives. Jennifer admits she’s strict but absolutely denies being abusive and says Jamie is exaggerating. When Dr. Phil brings this estranged couple together in search of a resolution, Jennifer confesses a disturbing and dangerous behavior. When offered a chance to get help putting her life back on track, will Jennifer accept?

Plus, Mary says she suffers from chronic pain due to arthritis and would like to find a more effective method of relief than over-the-counter medications. Dr. Freda Lewis-Hall, Chief Medical Officer of Pfizer (, discusses treatment options with Mary.

More than 16 million kids in the United States are at risk for hunger each day. Fortunately, you can help. Visit Feeding America to find your local food bank. And, help Dr. Phil raise enough money for 10 million meals. Donate today!

Jamie explains why he got a protection order against Jennifer.
And, Dr. Phil asks: “Is this woman a danger to the children?”

Jennifer opens up about a dangerous and disturbing behavior that she says Jamie has made worse.

Tune in to hear from Jennifer’s sister — why does she support Jamie? And, will Jennifer accept a chance at turning her life around?

          Managing Chronic Pain

Mary says she has been living with chronic pain for several years and has trouble performing simple tasks like opening jars, writing letters and even shaking people’s hands. She says she has been managing the pain with over-the-counter medications, but she would like to find a more effective method of relief.

Dr. Freda Lewis-Hall, Chief Medical Officer of Pfizer, discusses treatment options with Mary.
