Kids Ask Dr. Phil and Robin
Remember when you were a kid and things seemed really overwhelming? Well, it's the kids' turn today to ask Dr. Phil and Robin for advice on coping with their hard times and family dilemmas.

Teresa won't let her 13-year-old daughter Ashlee go anywhere alone for fear that she will be kidnapped. Ashlee is fed up and sick of being treated like a baby.

Dr. Phil checks back in with Teresa and Ashlee.

Sean, 13, has a scooter, a drum set, computer and video games, and feels he deserves presents for doing chores. He even threatens to leave home when he doesn't get his way.

John has survived 15 different foster homes, but feels he will never succeed because the odds are against him. He is surprised onstage by actress, foster care advocate, and former foster child Victoria Rowell.

Robin answers a letter about public criticism, and 8-year-old Ryan writes a touching letter to Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil makes Ryan's dreams come true, and takes him for a ride in his Formula One Ferrari.

The audience, all of whom are supporters of The Alliance for Children's Rights, gets a chance to ask Dr. Phil their own parenting and foster care questions.

Today's show benefited the Alliance for Children's Rights. Every day, thousands of children like John leave the foster care system without a family to lean on for support. The Alliance for Children's Rights is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the rights of children who are in or just leaving the foster care system, children in need of health care, with learning disabilities or in need of adoptive familes.
