After 40 years of marriage, Hope says her grandmother, Lucy, left her husband and left town with Ken, who used to be married to Lucy’s daughter, Cheryl.

Cheryl claims that after “getting over the initial shock and betrayal,’ she now fears for Lucy’s well-being. She and Hope claim that Ken was “angry” and “controlling” toward Cheryl during their marriage.

Lucy says Ken is absolutely not angry or controlling and she doesn’t see anything wrong with dating Ken. Now, Lucy says, if made to choose between her boyfriend and her daughter, Lucy says, “I’m going to say that I’m very happy with Ken right now.”

Can Dr. Phil help this family mend their wounds and grow beyond this, or could this confrontation be the end of the debate and possibly their relationships?
