15-Year-Old Says She Runs Away Because She Wants To Escape Toxic Home Environment
Brinley says her mom, Cassie, and stepfather, Jonah, blame her for everything that goes wrong in their house – but she says the real problem is Jonah.
“Jonah is a total alcoholic who doesn’t care to get better for our family,” Brinley says. “I, honestly, hate him.”
“The reasons I run away would be because of Jonah,” Brinley says.
In the video above, Brinley describes how she claims Jonah treats her mother. And, hear what happened the last time Brinley ran away from home.
What does Cassie say about her relationship with Jonah? And, what does Jonah say about his behavior? Watch what happens on Wednesday's episode of Dr. Phil, "Cassie’s Choice: Husband or Children?" and find out what Cassie decides. Check local listings to see where you can watch.
