“I get afraid of my father when he rages,” says a 16-year-old boy. “He’s grabbed me by my arm and one time with my neck. He grabbed me by the neck like this and lifted me, like, two or three feet.”

The teen’s father, Seth, responds to hearing his son’s fears. “I love my kids to death,” he says. “They mean everything to me.”
