16-Year-Old To Dr. Phil: ‘You Don’t Scare Me’

          September 14, 2017

Brittney says she dropped out of high school because it’s a “joke,” but as soon as she gets her GED she has a “bright” future ahead of her. The 16-year-old, who says she spends her days at the skate park smoking marijuana and drinking, says she has plans to go to college for cosmetology and crime scene investigation – and that she also has dreams of becoming a YouTube star.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Problems with your teen?

Her parents, with whom she has a fractured relationship, question the teen’s ambitions. They say she is out of control, violent and manipulative.

On Thursday’s episode of Dr. Phil, he asks the teen, “Why is everything you say defensive and sarcastic?”

“Because you’re going to try and knock me down, and pick me apart and find my weak spot. I don’t have a weak spot,” the teen retorts.

“I know every aspect on everything, for the show at least,” Brittney says. “I mean, it’s television. It’s not that hard.”
