Ollie says she has dreams of becoming a cosmetologist but has yet to complete her GED. The 17-year-old says her parents were in and out of her life for years while they dealt with addiction and legal issues.

“I want to give you an opportunity to do some things,” says Dr. Phil, offering to help Ollie cover the expenses associated with getting her General Education Diploma.

But what then?

Dr. Phil reveals that Educators of Beauty College of Cosmetology has agreed to provide Ollie with a full to scholarship to attend their program. “This includes all of your tuition, all of your books, all of the equipment, and everything that you have to have to be a student there,” he says. “All you have to do is get your GED and show up. What do you think of that?”
