“I’ve been living a lie for my entire life,” says Marcedes. “If you saw me on Facebook, you’d see a perfectly married couple with two beautiful children that lived in a really big house that had the American dream.”

The mother of two says every day, she gets up, posts on a website for escorts and then the calls start coming in. “I screen my clients based off of phone calls. If they can’t hold an intelligent conversation, then it’s a no-go,” she says, explaining that’s the only information she has about the men with whom she meets for sexual encounters. Marcedes claims she charges anywhere from $150 to $1,000 per visit, making up to $7,000 a week.

“The sex was addictive, the money was addictive, the attention was addictive,” Marcedes says, adding that she could never return to a 9-5 job.
Marcedes says that she maintained an escort lifestyle behind the back of her husband, Andrew, to whom she has been married for six years. She says that once he learned the truth about her employment – and that he was not the biological father of their second child – the two separated.
“After the separation with Andy, our children are with him, due to the lifestyle I live,” Marcedes says. “I see my kids only two to three times a week. It hurts me more than anyone could ever know. I’m tired of living this double life.”
