60-Year-Old Says She Won’t Go To Nigeria To Marry 22-Year-Old Fiancé – Does She Stand By Her Words?
Sandi says the last eight months of her life have been “the happiest” since she started speaking to 22-year-old Peter. She says even though she’s never met Peter in person because he lives over 6,000 miles away in Nigeria, she knows he’s the "real deal" and can’t wait to fly to Nigeria to meet him.
Sandi’s daughters say they believe their mom is being scammed – and fear that if she goes to Nigeria, she may never return.
On Tuesday’s episode of Dr. Phil, "'Is Our Mom’s Fiancé a Con Artist?'" Sandi learns, from the State Department’s travel advisories and a Dr. Phil Nigerian correspondent, that the Delta District in Nigeria where Peter lives is dangerous, especially for Americans. On Wednesday’s episode, "The Truth Behind Sandi’s Fiancé: Revealed," Sandi learns there are some inconsistencies in what Peter has told her. After hearing her daughters’ concerns and the information from Dr. Phil, will Sandi listen to the warnings, or will she fly to Nigeria to marry Peter? Watch what happens in the video above.
This episode airs Wednesday. Check local listings to see where you can watch.
