A Private Investigator Shows How He Believes Bloodstains Prove Chris Vaughn Didn’t Stage A Crime Scene
Chris Vaughn was convicted of murdering his wife, Kim, and their three children. Kim was shot once under the chin, and the children were each shot twice in their SUV on the side of the road. Vaughn claims Kim killed the children before shooting him twice and then turning the gun on herself.
Bill Clutter, a private investigator assigned to the case, admits that he initially thought Vaughn was guilty, but says he now believes Vaughn is innocent. He says a bloodstain on the seatbelt from inside the SUV may hold clues to what happened in the early morning hours of June 14, 2007. Watch his demonstration of what he believes took place inside the SUV in the video above.
On Tuesday’s episode of Dr. Phil, "Murder in the Suburbs: Inside the SUV," hear from Chris Regis, the former Assistant State’s Attorney, who was a member of the prosecution team in Vaughn’s case. Plus, Chris’ parents speak out for the first time on TV. Check local listings to see where you can tune in.
