Admitted ‘Shopaholic’ Says She Gets A ‘Feeling Of Accomplishment’ From Buying Things
Linda admits she has a shopping addiction that has caused her financial issues and forced her to move in with her 80-year-old mother who now delivers newspapers to help Linda pay off her bank loans. And still, she says, she hasn’t been able to stop shopping.
“It’s a high feeling. Feeling of accomplishment. Feeling of having something that maybe someone else doesn’t have,” she says.
Watch this clip from season 2 to find out how Linda responds when Dr. Phil says, “You're trying to heal an internal problem with external stuff.”
