Advice For 35-Year-Old Struggling To Move Past Traumatic Event: ‘Give Yourself The Right To Be Happy Again’

          VIDEO

          January 5, 2018

Tim says his life was ruined seven years ago when he got into an altercation with his mother and she called the police. He was arrested and convicted of misdemeanor domestic battery and claims he now can’t get a job. He blames his mother for what his life has become and insists she must “fix” the situation.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Betrayed by a loved one?

His mother claims he has been verbally abusive toward her for the last seven years, leaving her mean and nasty text messages, explicit words written on her doorstep and vulgar voicemails.

Tim’s father says his son has turned into a recluse and is incapable of moving past the event.
