Can Racial Bias In Real Estate Negatively Impact Physical And Emotional Health?
It's been known for decades that racial bias in real estate can have a negative impact on personal and generational wealth, but can it also affect physical and emotional health?
Dr. Corey Yeager, a psychotherapist for the Detroit Pistons and author of “How Am I Doing?: 40 Conversations to Have with Yourself,”, says, “The hopelessness that is incurred by this real estate bias produces a struggle in the mental wellness of African Americans.”
