It's been known for decades that racial bias in real estate can have a negative impact on personal and generational wealth, but can it also affect physical and emotional health?

Dr. Corey Yeager, a psychotherapist for the Detroit Pistons and author of “How Am I Doing?: 40 Conversations to Have with Yourself,”, says, “The hopelessness that is incurred by this real estate bias produces a struggle in the mental wellness of African Americans.”

Continuing, Dr. Yeager says, “Finding ways in which to address these issues in a manner that is fitting our mental wellness struggles is really important.”

The conclusion of this two-part Dr. Phil, “Fighting Back: Real Estate Bias Exposed,” airs Friday.
