Comedian Claims Management Agencies Discriminated Against Him Because He Is White
Comedian Tyler Fischer claims he has been turned down by management agencies because they said they were not taking on white men as talent.
“This is destroying people’s lives,” Fischer says, adding that he believes Hollywood is hiring based on race – not talent.
On Wednesday’s episode, “Discrimination: A Two-Way Street?" Dr. Phil delves into the topic of affirmative action and discrimination with Ekpunobi and Fischer, along with political commentator and activist Candace Owens, Professor and Chief Academic Officer for the University of Southern California Race and Equity Center Dr. John Pascarella, Dr. J. Luke Wood, Distinguished Professor of Education at San Diego State University, and conservative author and TV host Danielle D’Souza Gill. Check local listings to see where you can watch.
