Cindy and her husband, Rick, were homeless, living underground in the flood tunnels beneath Las Vegas

Amber, Ashley, Angela, and Atisha, who claimed that Cindy was addicted to drugs and alcohol, said they were put into foster care as small children, and had seen their mother only sporadically since then.

was successful in tracking down Cindy and Rick, but at first, she said she didn’t think she could live up to her daughters’ expectations of how a mother should be and didn’t want to be a “burden” on them.
The couple eventually accepted Dr. Phil’s offer of help, agreeing to go into residential treatment at Origins
where Cindy says she’s currently an employee, and Rick is soon to join the staff.
Still married, Cindy and Rick are no longer homeless and say they’ve been clean and sober for the past three years. Tune in to Wednesday’s Dr. Phil
