Mair Smyth is accused of posing as a psychic, life coach, and a mortgage broker to extort close to $1 million out of people from around the world. In 2019, she was convicted of grand theft and sentenced to five years in prison, but she was released in December 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Smyth’s daughter, Chelsea, gave courtroom testimony about her mother and spoke out on the podcast series Queen of the Con: The Irish Heiress. Watch the video above to see what she says life was like with her mother – and how she feels about her mom’s behavior.
