Dr. Laura Berman And Husband Say They Had No Idea Teen Son Was On Social Media Talking To Drug Dealer
Relationship therapist and TV Host Dr. Laura Berman and her husband, Sam Chapman, are living a parent’s worst nightmare. On February 7, 2021, Dr. Berman says she walked into her 16-year-old son, Sammy’s, bedroom to see him dying on the floor. After their son’s death, they learned he had communicated with a drug dealer on a social media site, bought a pill, and had it delivered to their home.
“There was nothing that would have given us a tip that our son was up in a room on Snapchat communicating with a drug dealer,” says Sam.
On Monday’s episode of Dr. Phil, “Celebrity TV Doctor Warns Parents after Son’s Quarantine Overdose,” the couple shares about the last day with their son – and learning he had accidentally overdosed. Check local listings to see where you can tune in.
