Dr. Phil and Robin share the story of Robin’s sister Cindy, whom Robin calls her hero.

In 2002, Cindy was driving on the freeway when someone dropped a two-gallon vat of acid on her car from a freeway overpass. It went through her windshield and burned 80% of her body.

“She went through that and never, ever, one time said, ‘Why me,’” Robin says. “Every time I was ever in her presence, I knew I was in the presence of the most powerful and strongest woman I have ever known.”

Hear Robin share Cindy’s story of survival in the video above.

On Wednesday’s episode, Dr. Phil speaks with Reina, who was severely burned in a house fire when she was 10. Now 20, Reina has dropped out of college, drinks, smokes marijuana and blows through her monthly settlement installments. Is she ready to change? Check here to see where you can watch.
