Susan, whose 16-year-old daughter, Janni, was diagnosed with childhood-onset schizophrenia at age 6, says she believes her 11-year-old son, Bodhi, has the disease as well. The children’s father, Michael says Bodhi has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. He doesn’t believe his son has schizophrenia.

When Dr. Phil tells Susan he won’t consider referring her for resources to help evaluate Bodhi until she takes down the videos of her children, she refuses, leading Dr. Phil to end the interview abruptly.

‘I am not going to be part of a process that includes exploitation of children,’ he tells the audience after his guests have left the stage.
