Kristi says she came to the Dr. Phil show four months ago to get help for her daughter Haley, who she claims has always been a compulsive liar. She says the 20-year-old has lied about being a contestant on American Idol, that rapper Eminem is her father and most recently claiming that she was pregnant with baby Jesus. After speaking with Dr. Phil, Haley agreed to go to inpatient treatment.

Kristi says that Haley appeared to be doing better in treatment, and that she was shocked to learn that her daughter would be coming home after two months and not going to another facility.

“I made it clear that Haley could not come home, that she needed to call around to some shelters,” Kristi says. “I ended up having to bring her back home and it was very disappointing and upsetting.”

When Kristi tells Dr. Phil that the treatment center was “supposed to find” a shelter for Haley, he says, “You need to understand, if we’re going to do this together, then it’s We, it’s not They.”
